Additional information:
- If the passenger is travelling with their own wheelchair, or need a bit of extra help from check-in to boarding gate, wheelchair assistance on the airport can be requested.
See below on how to book in GDS. - Passengers can bring their own wheelchair free of charge in addition to their normal baggage allowance.
- WCHR - Passenger can ascend/descend steps and is able to move to/from cabin seat. Requires wheelchair for the distance to/from the aircraft.
- WCHS - Passenger cannot ascend/descend steps but is able to move to/from cabin seat. Requires wheelchair for the distance to/from aircraft and must be carried up/down the steps.
- WCHC - Passenger is immobile. Requires wheelchair to/from aircraft, must be carried up/down the steps and to/from the cabin seat.
- WCBD/WCBW - Electric wheelchair with dry cell battery/wet cell battery. Used in combination with WCHR, WCHS or WCHC.
