Voluntary Changes

Norwegian allows changes on all our fares according to IATA rules.

NOTE!

    • In case of No-show or unused coupons on outbound portion no changes are permitted to inbound portion. 
    • Rerouting is not allowed.
    • Changes from direct to connecting flights (and vice versa) are not permitted.
    • In case of No-show or unused outbound flight, the inbound flight can still be used for travel. No reissue needed.
      If unused coupons on the outbound are to be refunded, this has done after the inbound travel has been used. 

 

Additional information:

    • For information about change fee, check fare notes applicable on the ticketing date. 
    • It is the amount of changed coupons that determinate the total penalty fee to be collected.
    • Penalty fee has to be collected on an EMD-S in the changed booking.

    • It is the travel agency own responsibility to make sure that the ticket is reissued and change fee is collected according to fare notes and guidelines given by Norwegian. Failing to do so, will result in an ADM. Go to ADM for more information.

Name Changes

Norwegian allows name change on all our tickets before the first flight in the booking commences. Restrictions may apply when a booking includes other airlines.

Additional information: 

    • For information about name change fee, check fare notes applicable on the ticketing date.
    • Penalty fee has to be collected on an EMD-S in the changed booking.
      Go to EMD for more information. 
    • For name corrections (spelling mistakes, adding middle name etc.) contact Agent Support. This applies for all GDS'.
    • For name changes, travel agency shall do this by themselves in their GDS: There is no need for any authorization from Norwegian to do this. Name change fee is according to penalty rule, and have to be collected on an EMD-S.
