Additional information:

  • Free name changes are allowed up until ticketing.
    Note! Use Name Update to change the name to prevent any changes to the ticketing deadline.
  • After ticketing, a name change fee (see below) will apply.
    For tickets issued before November 1st, 2025, name change fee applies per direction.
    For tickets issued from November 1st, 2025, only one name change fee apllies per ticket.
  • For name changes, travel agency shall do this by themselves in their GDS: There is no need for any authorization from Norwegian to do this. Name change fee must be collected on an EMD-S.
  • The name change fee must be collected in currency of country where name change is made. If currency is not on the list, EUR is to be used.
  • For name corrections (spelling mistakes, adding middle name etc.) you need to contact Agent Support. This goes for all type of bookings.  
  • Name changes/correction + reissue of e-ticket/issuing of EMD must be done latest 30min before scheduled time of departure on first flight in the booking. 
  • Following info will be displayed regarding name reporting deadline.
